Andy Bowman
Founder and President
Andy Bowman founded Pioneer Green Energy with over 13 years’ experience in all aspects of the wind industry. Over his career, Andy has managed development of 1,700MW of fully constructed projects and developed himself or with others 500MW more in constructed projects, altogether totaling more than $3 billion in total capital costs. Most recently, Andy was Chief Development Officer for E.On Climate & Renewables, where he was responsible for the development of more than 1,250MW of fully constructed projects and a pipeline of 5,000MW+ in all regions of the U.S. and Canada. Prior to this, Andy was a founder and president of Renewable Generation Inc., which was sold to Airtricity in 2005. Airtricity was subsequently acquired by E.On in 2007. Andy is a graduate of Yale University and received his JD from the University of Texas School of Law and his MPAff from the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Bobby Blunt
Founder and Vice President
Bobby Blunt is a wind project developer and attorney with over 10 years experience in energy generation and regulated utilities. Most recently he was Vice President for the SW US Region at E.On Climate & Renewables, where he managed 3,500+ MW of wind projects in development and was lead developer on the 460 MW Panther Creek Wind Energy Complex, which today is one of the world’s largest operating onshore wind farms.  Prior to joining E.On, Bobby was an attorney with the law firm Clark, Thomas & Winters representing electric and natural gas utility companies on regulatory matters, transactions, rate cases and compliance with state & federal renewables requirements. Bobby is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and received his JD from the University of Houston Law School.

Greg Buis
Founder and Vice President
Greg Buis is a wind project developer with over 12 years experience working on diverse land use issues both nationally and abroad. Recently, he was Director of Development in the Mountain West region for a major incumbent renewables company where he was responsible for all aspects of development on projects in highly competitive markets from Texas to Canada. As a published ecologist, a former National Science Foundation Fellow and a forester with work experience from California to South Africa, Greg has a uniquely qualified environmental and permitting perspective. Greg is a graduate of Brown University and earned an MS in Ecology from Colorado State University.

Adam Cohen
Founder and Vice President
Adam Cohen has implemented and led development efforts for a pipeline in excess of 1,000 MW of competitive wind energy projects. Prior to founding Pioneer Green Energy, Adam managed all development and permitting aspects of the Papalote Creek Wind Farm Complex, successfully bringing into commercial operation the 180 MW first phase of the project in 2009, and leading to construction of the 200MW second phase. Adam is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Colin Fleming
Founder and Vice President
Colin Fleming is a wind project developer with 6 years of experience in the wind industry across the US, as well as 3 years thermal development experience in the U.S. and in China. He has worked for 3 major incumbent wind development firms, including E.On Climate & Renewables, Horizon Wind and Enron Wind, and has played a key role in the successful development of wind projects from New York to Texas. Before he joined Pioneer Green, Colin was a developer on one of the largest wind projects constructed in the Northeast (Maple Ridge Wind Farm) and was lead developer of a large project in the Southwest (Inadale Wind Farm). Colin is a graduate of the University of Houston, has studied in China and received his MBA from Rice University’s Jesse Jones Graduate School of Management in Houston, Texas.

David Savage
Founder and Vice President
David Savage is a developer and attorney with broad experience obtaining permits and approvals for energy projects and addressing the environmental and natural resource aspects of new generation. David’s early career was in the field of air quality as Assistant Regional Counsel for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to founding Pioneer Green Energy, he was a partner at the law firm Baker Botts, L.L.P., focusing on project permitting, climate change, regulatory compliance and renewable energy. David is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and received his JD from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Cyrus Tashakkori
Founder and Vice President
Cyrus Tashakkori is a solar and wind project developer with experience in greenfield development throughout the U.S. under 2 major incumbent wind companies. Cyrus has particular expertise in solar development: prior to founding Pioneer Green Energy, Cyrus spearheaded efforts by a major incumbent developer to enter the US solar market, working to establish the market entrance and development strategy and to create a substantial pipeline of solar projects. Cyrus is a graduate of UNC Asheville and received his MBA from UT Austin’s McCombs Business School and his MPAff from the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Patrick Buckley
Development and Logistics Team
Patrick is a solar and wind project developer, with particular expertise in greenfield development. Patrick's experience in energy development began with his work as a land manager in the natural gas industry in Texas, managing land rights and lease contracts in the Barnett Shale – one of the largest natural gas deposits in the US. Patrick holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona. Patrick has consulted in a range of capacities in the renewable energy industry, including involvement in the development of a wind project in Puerto Rico and deep analysis on the market strategy for a leading solar developer in the southwestern US solar market.

Delilah Montemayor
Business Manager
Delilah is the Business Manager for Pioneer Green Energy. Prior to joining our team, she spent 5 years working as the Projects Coordinator for the University of Texas School of Law. During her time at UT, Delilah was the Law School representative for the Campus Environmental Center and managed the recycling program for the Law School. She has also worked as a paralegal for over 5 years and managed a solo practitioner’s office for 2 years, handling all manner of case assignments, due diligence and analytical projects in transactional and litigation matters. Delilah is a graduate of Texas State University and is a flamenco dancer in her spare time.

Sergio Trevino

Sergio is a wind developer and attorney. Before joining Pioneer Green Energy, he practiced law, specializing in debt restructuring and bankruptcy. In this capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of litigation, engaging county, state, and federal authorities, and negotiating with regional and national financial institutions. Sergio is also an educator – certified by Texas Teaching Fellows -- with experience in challenged school systems and low-income communities. Sergio is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and received his JD from the University of Texas School of Law.

Johnny Walker
Development and Logistics Team
Johnny is a wind developer with expertise in greenfield development in the Eastern United States. Prior to joining Pioneer Green Energy, Johnny founded his own small business in Austin, Texas and managed all aspects of the business for 18 years. Johnny also worked for 12 years as a private investigator in complex litigation matters. Johnny is an avid outdoorsman and attended the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, NV.
